Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Community Health Worker - Home Attendant to join our team. As a Community Health Worker - Home Attendant, you will provide care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, and provide companionship during mealtime.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and changing bed linens.
- Support clients with their daily routines, including medication reminders and appointment scheduling.
- Provide respite care and support to clients and their families.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Class V BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle.
- FoodSafe certification.
- Recent experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
