PARSONS CORPORATION is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our growth strategy for the Critical Infrastructure Business Unit in Western Canada. As Business Development Director, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. Your extensive experience in the Transportation industry will enable you to leverage your key contacts within private organizations and Provincial/Federal agencies to proactively develop project opportunities and better understand their economic spend.

Salary: $154,800 - $287,700

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets in the Western Canada Infrastructure region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including public and private sector projects.
  • Leverage your network to build partnerships and position Parsons' team for success.
  • Engage in the negotiation process, including building out teams and executing teaming agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with company goals and capabilities.
  • Represent Parsons at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
  • Build and implement effective sales/marketing long-term business and marketing strategies to drive market growth in alignment with Parsons' strategic and financial goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • 15+ years of broad and diversified experience within the Transportation industry in Western Canada.
  • Proven leader in client relationship management, strategic planning, strategic teaming, and proposal strategy and negotiation.
  • Successful track record of pursuing and winning traditional Design/Bid/Build Transportation projects.
