What You'll Do
- Provide technical advice and expertise for client projects, including plan design, financial and underwriting review, flexible benefits pricing, insurance carrier reviews, and more.
- Analyze claims, identify anomalies, estimate future plan costs, develop pricing models, and provide analysis of clients' financial and underwriting results.
- Prepare experience reviews and renewal underwriting analyses, participate in the negotiation of renewal ratings, and review contracts, employee booklets, and financial statements.
- Prepare specifications for seeking quotations, peer review data and reports, assist consultants in client meetings, and draft presentations to clients.
- Develop strong working relationships with peers, clients, and group benefit insurance company representatives, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of group systems, products, and technology, and lead by example by demonstrating and sharing best practices.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Business Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills in developing solutions for complex client/business issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong technical expertise and the willingness to remain current with respect to industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies, and changes.
- Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft office package.
- Bilingual written and spoken (French and English).
