About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to join our team at Georgian Bay Family Restaurant. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes to enhance our menu offerings and stay competitive in the market.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Plan and execute menus that meet our quality standards and cater to the tastes of our customers.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Work Environment

As a member of our kitchen team, you can expect a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
