Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Lipsett Cartage Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods across various routes.

Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and ensure their needs are met.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections before, during, and after each trip to identify any issues or defects.
  • Cargo Security and Safety: Ensure the safe and secure transport of cargo by properly tarping and securing it during transit.
  • Equipment Management: Manage all aspects of vehicle and equipment maintenance, including scheduling repairs and performing routine checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement: Possess a valid Air Brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Hold a valid driver's licence with a good driving history.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and work in a fast-paced environment.
