About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As an Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing instrumentation and control systems for CANDU plants and other nuclear installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform conceptual and/or detailed design of Candu instrumentation and control systems and modifications thereof.
- Perform specification, sizing, and selection for various types of I&C components.
- Update and/or prepare I&C engineering design documents.
- Provide input to the drawing office for the preparation of various I&C related engineering drawings.
- Interface with various engineering disciplines, suppliers, and other areas of the company.
Requirements:
- Relevant Honours degree in a relevant field of engineering from a university of recognized standing.
- Demonstrate good technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
