Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing structure, support, and administrative systems to meet contract obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively respond to issues that impact contract requirements and facilitate solutions in a timely manner.
  • Organize, direct, manage, and coordinate project team members to build teamwork and ensure high performance.
  • Comply with Company Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Safety programs, policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective relations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor financial performance, conduct financial analysis, and prepare performance information and recommendations for incorporation into periodic reports.
  • Monitor contract and project compliance with company policies and procedures in relation to legal, financial, safety, and administration matters.
  • Provide input into the development, review, negotiation, and implementation of subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Establish and report appropriate metrics for measuring contract performance.
  • Responsible for the overall safety of all project personnel and promote a positive safety culture in the workplace.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with the customer that reflects a partnership approach and demonstrates sound understanding of the customer's needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relative discipline or degree can be substituted for equivalent work experience and technical expertise in asset management, road maintenance, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of asset management and road maintenance, repair, and/or construction.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and negotiate, coordinate, and plan effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to provide strong leadership and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly developed sense of safety awareness and perceptive ability, with the ability to recognize hazards and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury, or accident.

Experience

  • 2-3 years industry experience, with previous management/supervisory experience highly desired.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record to drive a company vehicle.
