About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Night Bellperson to join our team at Fairmont Empress. As a Night Bellperson, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of our guests. This includes delivering luggage, messages, and other items to guest rooms, as well as providing a warm welcome and farewell to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver luggage, messages, and other items to guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide a warm welcome and farewell to guests, using their name and addressing them by title
- Respond to special requests and provide excellent service to our guests
- Be knowledgeable about local attractions, events, and services, and be able to provide recommendations to guests
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest service
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Porter or Doorperson, or in a position demanding a luxury standard of constant guest/customer service
- Valid BC Class 5 drivers' license
- Comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
