Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at Grewal Logistics Ltd. This role involves operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A). We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on industry standards for transportation professionals in similar roles.
As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the condition of your vehicle, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the safety and security of cargo. You will also be required to perform emergency roadside repairs, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
We offer a green job with positive environmental outcomes. The position involves driving as part of a two-person team or convoy, loading and unloading goods, and tarping to ensure the safety and security of cargo.
This is a permanent full-time position with a regular schedule of 50 hours per week. The working language is English, and we provide a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
