We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Banking Sales & Service Representative to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying their needs and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions.
  • Sales Support: Work collaboratively with the branch team to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
  • Transaction Support: Support customer requests for banking services, including handling transactions and supporting customers who walk into the branch.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends and integrate into customer conversations.
  • Problem Solving: Perform initial problem solving within given rules/limits and escalate when required.
  • Teamwork: Act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team.
Requirements
  • No Prior Experience Necessary: We welcome candidates with no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Certification: A post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Personal Banking Products: High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers' individual needs.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: An aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly and creatively to new challenges.
