Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Homewood Ravensview, a leading mental health and addiction treatment center in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean patient rooms and common areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitizing
  • Sort, wash, and load laundry to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Restock bathrooms with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
  • Empty waste paper baskets and trash containers, and replace liners

Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, or institutional environment
  • Infection prevention and control training an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and afternoon shifts
