Pension Solutions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Solutions Manager to join our team at People Corporation in Mississauga. As a key member of our BPA team, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day administration of a portfolio of Client Pension Plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple teams of pension administration professionals in maintaining accurate defined benefit and/or defined contribution pension plan records, calculations, and communication based on plan provisions, actuarial assumptions, and legislative rules.
- Perform peer reviews and participate in the production of daily work, year-end validations, annual statements, and regulatory filings.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for questions regarding special cases, legislation, and plan interpretations.
- Assist with required training and participate in the testing of new/updated administrative tools.
- Work with other senior pension administration staff to identify inefficiencies and process improvements.
- Plan and roll out projects and company initiatives.
- Participate in FTE planning and performance reviews, and manage personnel and HR policies.
- Provide reports to senior managers and executives.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a customer service environment, preferably related to defined benefit pension administration.
- Detailed knowledge of defined benefit pension plan administration, actuarial assumptions, CIA recommendations, and legislative regulations for Ontario and other jurisdictions.
- Ability to interpret, apply, and communicate changes to pension provisions and regulations.
- Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
