About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at ALDRED RESTAURANTS LTD dba McDonalds Restaurants. As a Food Service Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a recognized employer, working 32 to 37.5 hours per week. The work language is English.
