About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanic Operator to join our team at the Ontario Clean Water Agency. As a trusted partner to municipalities, First Nations communities, businesses, governments, and institutions across Ontario, we provide our clients with total solutions in water and wastewater.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform predictive, condition-based monitoring, preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and major equipment overhauls.
  • Operate all process control and other related equipment required in the operations and maintenance of the facilities and systems within the Eastern Region.
  • Participate in capital projects and work closely with a variety of people, including coworkers, clients, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Trades license as a Millwright/Electrician and/or applicable skilled trade.
  • Willingness to obtain Operator-in-Training (OIT) certification and apply or write level one exams within the first year.
  • Valid Class G driver's license.
  • Bilingual English and French would be an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take initiative.
