Credit Funding Supervisor Role
About the Job
Kawartha Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Credit Funding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our lending operations, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of our Credit Associates, ensuring excellent member service, adherence to corporate policy and procedures, and the validity of loan and security documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach Credit Associates to strengthen their skills and competency levels.
- Assist with training Credit Associates and ensure a consistent, thorough, and complete training program is in place.
- Act as a first line of defense on risk management activities, completing reports and providing recommendations to management.
- Oversee the custody of collateral security, including preparation, registration, and validation of security documentation.
- Responsible for auditing and reviewing mortgage renewal agreements and letters, commitment letters, and amendments.
- Provide support to all consumer lending positions as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Post-secondary education with an emphasis in business administration would be preferred.
- Three to five years of lending or loan administration experience.
- Supervisory experience would be an asset.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of risk management policies and procedures, consumer and commercial credit policies, procedures, products, and services, and Credit Master program.
