Credit Funding Supervisor Role

About the Job

Kawartha Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Credit Funding Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our lending operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of credit services to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Credit Associates, ensuring excellent member service, adherence to corporate policies, and the validity of loan and security documentation.
  • Conduct coaching sessions to enhance the skills and competency levels of Credit Associates.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure Credit Associates are knowledgeable and well-trained.
  • Act as a first line of defense on risk management activities, completing reports and providing recommendations to management.
  • Oversee the custody of collateral security, including preparation, registration, and validation of security documentation.
  • Responsible for auditing and reviewing mortgage renewal agreements, letters, commitment letters, and payouts in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to consumer lending positions, including Financial Services Representatives, Lending Representatives, Recovery, and Commercial Account Managers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in business administration would be an asset.
  • Three to five years of lending or loan administration experience.
  • Supervisory experience would be an asset.
  • Thorough knowledge of risk management policies, consumer and commercial credit policies, products, and services.
