Senior Network Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Solution Architect to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Technology and Enterprise Platform (GTEP) organization, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with application owners and leadership teams to provide technical insights and drive forward the bank's Public Cloud Acceleration strategy.
- Develop and implement design patterns for Public Cloud migration, and provide mentorship to the infrastructure and application development teams.
- Assist in major incidents and provide technical leadership in solving complex hybrid cloud integration challenges.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to convey ideas and recommendations on solutions.
- At least 8+ years of technical working experience in working closely with Application Teams to provide comprehensive solutions across a broad infrastructure service area.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience in architecting and deploying full-stack applications in Public Cloud (GCP and Azure preferred).
- At least 4+ years of hands-on technical working experience in the end-to-end design/planning/implementation of the migration of applications from an internal on-prem data center to the Public Cloud.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on technical working experience with Kubernetes (k8s), CI/CD pipeline, and the infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) toolset.
