Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at ProStyle Cleaning. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Specialized Tasks: Clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner at ProStyle Cleaning, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding activities. You will be required to walk and bend, crouch, and kneel.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
