Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Monarch House is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting speech-language tests and examinations, diagnosing and evaluating speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders, and developing, planning, and implementing remedial programs to correct these disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech-language tests and examinations to assess patients' communication skills
  • Diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders
  • Develop, plan, and implement remedial programs to correct speech, voice, language, resonance, cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders
  • Instruct technicians and students on speech-language pathology techniques
  • Supervise technical and support staff in speech-language pathology
  • Provide advice and educational services to patients and families regarding communication and swallowing disorders
  • Establish personalized care plans working as a member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Provide information to patients and families regarding the nature, extent, impact, and implications of hearing loss and treatment
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
