Job Title: Pharmacy Manager - St. Walburg

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Neighbourly Pharmacy in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy to our patients, while actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Focus on clinical services, including medication reviews, disease state management, and patient education.
  • Promote the Neighbourly brand through publishing, presenting, and participation in industry associations to improve brand awareness.
  • Follow and promote the Neighbourly policy manual to inspire a working environment that attracts and retains talented, committed, and engaged employees.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and document patient information.
  • Administer vaccines and determine appropriateness of drug therapy.
  • Monitor medication adherence and collect relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
  • Recommend OTC products and vitamins, and answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment.
  • Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred).
  • Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff.
  • Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism.
