About the Role:

CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted provider of healthcare, food, and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC. We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team in one of our beautiful long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and develop care plans to meet the needs of residents.
  • Provide personal and nursing care to residents, including administering medications and supervising care staff.
  • Directly supervise care staff to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the care team.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
  • Cultural education and experience are preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • The successful applicant must provide satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccination and any required booster vaccination.

Work Environment:

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
  • Day, evening, and night shifts available.
  • Weekends as needed.
