Transportation Operations Manager

CH LOGISTICS is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods from our warehouse to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are within budget.
- Shipping and Receiving: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit.
- Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates.
- Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Planning and Organization: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, work under pressure, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
