Job Title: Transportation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Manager to join our team at Novalex Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, establishing and implementing policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Develop and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Vehicle and Goods Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor and analyze revenue generated from transportation services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Cargo Management: Record and manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily transportation operations, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Supervision:

The Transportation Manager will supervise a team of 3-4 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and goals.

  • Analytical: The Transportation Manager must be highly analytical, able to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Punctuality: The Transportation Manager must be punctual, able to meet deadlines and deliver results on time.
