We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Wilok Inc. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.
Job Summary:The Handyman/Woman will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our properties, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as performing minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, and wax floors, hallways, and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
- Empty trash cans and waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, and electrical systems
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to plumbing systems
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Work with minimal supervision
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Building operator/superintendent certificate
- Experience in electricity - construction
- Ability to work with power tools, power lawn mowers, and small tractors
- Criminal record check
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
