We are seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at THE APRON. This is a permanent, full-time position working 30-40 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Restaurant Operations Manager at THE APRON, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee daily operations, including managing staff, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000-$60,000, based on industry standards and market conditions in the area.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing financial data to identify areas for cost savings and implementing strategies to boost profits;
  • Evaluating daily operations and making recommendations for improvement;
  • Planning and organizing daily tasks and activities to ensure seamless execution;
  • Setting schedules and allocating tasks to staff members;
  • Training and mentoring new staff to ensure they meet our high standards;
  • Managing inventory and supplies, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best deals;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and liquor laws;
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns promptly;
  • Negotiating arrangements with clients for catering or facility use;
  • Managing events and functions, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the foodservice industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management software;
