Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DataStage Developer to join our team in Wealth Management Global IT Data Services Canada. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data integration solutions using DataStage and other related technologies
  • Develop and maintain complex ETL processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Provide input and guidance on data modeling and database design
  • Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical design, specifications, and unit test plans
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage and QualityStage
  • Exposure to application programming and analysis required with DataStage and ETL tools
  • Database query performance tuning experience
  • Development background in Java technologies, including Spring Boot
  • Experience developing API/Web Services, REST, Messaging-based Applications like Kafka, MQ, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Enterprise applications and Systems like Traditional RDBMS, In-Memory distributed databases (MemSQL), Cassandra
  • Hands-on experience with developing complex stored procedures and SQL tuning
  • Experience with Containerization and DevOps/automation methods/tools (OpenShift, Docker)
  • Experience with mainstream programming languages (Java) as well as scripting languages
  • Experience with multiple platforms (Unix/Linux, Windows) in both Agile and Waterfall environments
