Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineering Manager to lead our team of process engineers and metallurgists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical process engineering and experience in leading teams to achieve quality, completion, and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and guide a team of process engineers and metallurgists to ensure the achievement of quality, completion, and profit objectives.
  2. Check and review work performed by other members of the process team and assist with the allocation of work within the team.
  3. Contribute to business development activities, including client meetings, technical presentations, and professional conferences.
  4. Provide leadership and professional development to the process team.
  5. Develop and review workflow processes and procedures.

Technical and Operational Support:

  1. Develop, manage, and interpret laboratory and piloting metallurgical test work programs.
  2. Write and review test work reports and business cases.
  3. Perform calculations for equipment sizing and process design scope in response to RFQ packages.
  4. Provide commissioning, operation, and optimization support at clients' sites.
  5. Resolve technical and process design challenges.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in mineral processing or chemical engineering.
  2. Experience in froth flotation process.
  3. Registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
  4. Prior experience in a client-facing role with a proven track record of delivering OEM and/or EPC projects on time and within budgets.
  5. Strong communication and leadership skills, combined with the ability to provide advanced technical solutions and problem-solve.
  6. Detail-oriented, with strong planning, organizational, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  7. Ability to respond quickly to change and adapt to new requirements.
  8. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  9. Capability to prioritize and deliver work in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Able to travel and conduct site visits.
