About the Job

Honest Renovations is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Prepare layouts and ensure compliance with building codes
  • Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Supervise other workers and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
