Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Car Wash Supervisor to join our team at Horizon Autobody Collision Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our car wash department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of car wash attendants to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the car wash department, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the team is working efficiently.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for the car wash department, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to offer additional services to our customers, such as detailing or interior cleaning, and recommend these to management.
  • Receive Payments: Process payments for car wash services and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with Daily Operations: Assist car wash attendants with their duties as needed, ensuring that the department is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure that our customers receive a seamless and high-quality experience.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and manage work schedules for the car wash department, ensuring that we have adequate staffing levels at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a car wash or related industry
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring regular standing, walking, and lifting
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, initiative, and excellent communication skills
