Product Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Product Safety Specialist to join our team at CSA Group. In this role, you will be responsible for completing simple certification projects under the direct supervision of a Fully Qualified Certifier.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain good housekeeping and use personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Work on projects of limited complexity, increasing in difficulty as you develop.
  • Use standard engineering methods and techniques to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Lab Staff and Mentors to determine applicable tests and prepare certification reports.
  • Receive technical assistance from qualified technical staff and assigned mentors.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with 0-2 years job-related experience.
  • Certified Engineering Technologist/Technician or Licensed Trades with 3-5 years industry experience.
  • Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and general laboratory procedures.
