Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

The Account Manager will be measured on several KPIs, including:

• Direct engagement with intermodal importers and exporters
• Volume growth and diversification through the Prince Rupert Gateway
• Effective execution of PRPA's Marketing Strategy
• Improved strategies for new business development
• Proactive addressing of any potential service issues

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of these KPIs and the ability to track and analyze progress towards achieving them. They will also be able to provide regular updates and recommendations to management on how to improve performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration or Commerce with an emphasis on marketing
• 3 to 5 years' of related experience
• Experience in managing a portfolio of customer relationships
• Supply chain, sales and/or business development experience is considered an asset
• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Superior judgment and tact in dealing with sensitive issues and confidential information
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to effectively handle changing priorities
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to obtain security clearance under Transport Canada's Security Clearance Program
• Possess valid Class 5 Drivers License
