Radiant Care Tabor Manor
A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled Therapeutic Recreationist to join our team at Radiant Care Tabor Manor. As a key member of our Therapeutic Recreation department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing activities and programs to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and assessing resident needs and developing programs in collaboration with the Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor.
- Encourage and record resident participation in programs.
- Assist with the creation of monthly activity calendars.
- Attend team conferences as required.
Requirements
- Training and education in recreation/leisure services, Therapeutic Recreation, or Kinesiology from a recognized community college or university as per Ministry of Health standards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience in recreation programming and planning.
