Job Summary

MTB Transit Solutions is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Skilled Labourer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the repair and refurbishment of transit buses and highway coaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and reassemble coach and transit buses
  • Cut and fit plywood floors
  • Cut and fit rubber bus floor coverings
  • Remove and install bus passenger seats
  • Fabricate and install aluminum trims, passenger grab handles, and passenger windows
  • Perform various tasks related to the installation of components on buses
Requirements
  • Experience working in an industrial environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude or experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, and/or automotive body restoration
  • Ability to use a variety of tools, including cutting wheels, shears, gauges, table saws, skill saws, and workshop presses
  • Canadian resident
Working Conditions

Our facility is a bright, clean, and modern shop with state-of-the-art equipment. We offer a collaborative work environment with a non-unionized team and many long-term employees.

Shifts are Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with no nights or weekends. Work is performed indoors during cold winter months.

Compensation

MTB Transit Solutions offers competitive compensation, an annual bonus, a comprehensive benefits package, an RRSP plan, and vacation time for full-time permanent employees.

Wages: $20 – $24/hour
