Nuovo Photography is a premier artistic photography company dedicated to empowering women. We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager for our Retouching Department. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest quality of retouching work, maintaining efficient workflow, and team morale.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for photography and retouching. They will be responsible for training and overseeing retouchers, conducting quality assessments, ensuring all retouching projects are current and on schedule, and mitigating client concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training and Quality Control: Train and oversee retouchers during their probationary period, conduct quality assessments as needed.
  2. Workload Management: Ensure all retouching projects are current and on schedule, mitigate client concerns promptly and effectively.
  3. Team Oversight and Support: Monitor and evaluate retoucher performance, maintain office needs and supplies, organize activities to boost team morale.
  4. Retouching and Technical Support: Step in to perform retouching tasks when necessary, assist the manager with performance reviews and bonus calculations.

Requirements:

Proven experience in photo retouching, with a strong portfolio. Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in retouching software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
