About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Consultant to join our Wealth team at Servus Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial planning and investment advice to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Advice: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for our members, taking into account their unique financial goals and objectives.
  2. Investment Management: Provide expert investment advice and guidance to our members, helping them to achieve their long-term financial goals.
  3. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with existing and potential clients to drive growth and revenue.
  4. Staff Development and Coaching: Provide coaching and training to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge in financial planning and investment management.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all financial planning and investment activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and Servus Credit Union's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and investment management, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business.
  3. Licenses and Certifications: Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) MFDA License.
