About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at BC Pension Corporation.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Hybrid Infrastructure team and other key functions across the organization to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on continuous improvement, high availability, security, and the latest innovations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Oracle OCI technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and supervision to the team, as well as formal coaching and mentorship.
  • Participate in projects and sustainment efforts to improve and maintain deployed technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in planning, designing, and managing Azure/OCI cloud infrastructure.
  • Five or more years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing traditional infrastructure solutions in a combined Windows and Unix/Linux environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud spending, billing, and optimization experience.
  • Implementing resilience and cloud provider frameworks.
  • Cloud provider certifications.
  • People management and supervisory experience.
