We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cement Bulker Spread Operator to join our team at Lafarge Construction in Edmonton. This is a full-time seasonal position, requiring long hours and outdoor work.
Salary
We offer competitive wages with both regular time and overtime rates, ensuring job completion within the condensed road construction season. The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description
As a Cement Bulker Spread Operator, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and spreading cement products at various job sites around Edmonton. You will operate heavy equipment, conduct pre-operational checks, and maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have knowledge of road construction and experience operating heavy equipment. You should also possess a Class 3 with Air Endorsement or a Class 1 license for hauling cement b-train units. Other essential skills include oral communication, working with others, and physical stamina for long hours outdoors.
