Job Summary

The Sales Associate will play a key role in supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve all company goals and initiatives. This includes providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and utilizing effective selling techniques to drive sales and meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise, highlighting current promotions and offering solutions for out-of-stock items.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, ensuring accurate information is provided to customers.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques to positively impact conversion and drive sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display.
  • Support and maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom, adhering to a customer-ready environment and safety requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Guarantee company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Behaviors
  • Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
  • Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
