About the Role:

Kleenway Building Maintenance Services Inc is seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
  • Identify customers' needs and provide solutions
  • Oversee the preparation of reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Plan and organize the operations of the facilities and the included real estate
  • Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
  • Promote sales to existing clients and recommend products or services to customers
  • Identify and solicit potential clients and assess their needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  • Deliver sales presentations and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services and consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
  • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff and plan and manage the facility's operations budget
  • Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
  • Monitor safety conditions and monitor and inspect work

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5-10 people supervision experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, sitting, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking
