Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as our Executive Director, responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operations of Eastern Counties Ontario Youth for Christ (ECONYFC). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization and empowering young people to become life-long followers of Jesus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to create a Youth for Christ presence in secondary schools and communities of Eastern Ontario
  • Attend all Board meetings and report on matters relating to ECONYFC's programs, personnel, finances, and facilities
  • Maintain regular communication with supporters, churches, and community leaders, sharing the impact of ECONYFC ministry programs
  • Engage community groups and churches to raise the profile of ECONYFC
  • Responsible for locating and applying for grants in support of the Administrative Operations of the Chapter and YFC Youth workers
  • Oversee the general administrative activities of ECONYFC's satellite operations
  • Adhere to YFC Canada's policies and guidelines
  • Ensure ECONYFC policy and procedure manuals are kept up-to-date
  • Ensure Board-approved policies and procedures are implemented
  • Ensure that adequate and properly maintained facilities and equipment are available for ECONYFC's programs and staff
  • Implement a yearly staff and Board off-site meeting for spiritual rejuvenation, team development, and planning
Requirements
  • Christian character and commitment to the ECONYFC Statement of Faith and Community Commitments
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complexity, diversity, and change
  • Experience in youth ministry or a related field
