**Job Summary**

Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. is seeking a skilled Parts Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for working alongside our production manager and repair planner to ensure seamless parts ordering and distribution.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work with vendors to locate and order parts, maintaining strong relationships to ensure timely delivery.
  • Order parts through various channels, including phone, online, and our body shop management system.
  • Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy, ensuring timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Receive, tag, and distribute parts immediately upon receipt or by 9 am for overnight deliveries.
  • Scan and process invoices of parts shipments as they arrive, providing them to the repair planner.
  • Supply Body Shop Technicians with parts as required, verifying correct parts with a mirror match.
  • Return and re-order incorrect or damaged parts, coordinating with Technicians and estimator on supplemental damage.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked parts department and shop.
  • Assist in the detailing process of vehicles when necessary, placing ordered parts on assigned part racks and carts in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicle, posting parts and sublet invoices and maintaining an accurate accounting record of the part.
  • Keep work area clean and well organized, performing other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective repair.

**Requirements**

  • One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department.
  • Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
  • Hold a driver's license with a clean driving record.
