About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Municipal/Project Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading municipal projects and/or design teams, planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, financial, and administrative aspects of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead municipal projects and/or design teams, developing the scope of engineering design work, schedules, and budgets for project elements, and monitoring progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
- Determine the technical skills and staff hours required for successful project completion, coordinating interdisciplinary technical personnel with other project engineers/managers.
- Ensure client criteria and scope are met, performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience in local roadways, sanitary and water systems, drainage, and other municipal engineering projects.
- Licensed professional holding registration in good standing with APEGA.
- Experience working with City of Calgary and other nearby municipalities.
- Proven leadership experience with teams and/or projects.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Familiar with industry practices and regulations.
- Knowledgeable of current technology and able to apply the appropriate engineering design and modeling software for product deliveries.
