About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 1021 ONTHEGO SERVICES CORPORATION. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Tasks:
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
    • Handle customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions
    • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking shelves and supplies
  • Customer Service:
    • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
    • Provide product recommendations and engage in suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including restocking and rotating stock
    • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with other sales team members to achieve sales goals and objectives
    • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on products and promotions
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Relevant experience considered an asset
  • Language: English
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
