About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Flat Roofer to join our team at G&G Roofing Ltd. As a Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing flat roofs using various materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
  • Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials
  • Repair roofing systems to ensure they are watertight and secure
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Install sheet metal flashings to ensure a watertight seal
  • Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to roofs
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in roofing
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The work language is English.
