Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Simply Pho You. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to address any issues that may arise.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our customers.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that all aspects of our kitchen are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Certifications: Hold a Safe Food Handling certificate and a Food Safety Certificate.
- Cuisine Specialties: Have experience preparing and cooking Vietnamese cuisine.
- Experience: Have experience working in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Language: Be fluent in English.
- Availability: Be available to work 30-40 hours per week.
