About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction and Development Coordinator to join our team at Good Shepherd Centres. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in coordinating development and construction projects, managing budgets, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate development and construction projects, including site planning, permitting, and construction management
  • Manage budgets and project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and city officials
  • Develop and implement project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and city officials
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction and development project coordination or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and city officials
