We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our Recruiting Foundations and Domains (RFD) team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering industry-leading candidate experiences and developing scalable technology recruiting solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers to innovate and deliver software that powers Amazon's Recruiting Engine
- Work backwards from the customer to invent new solutions and improve existing software
- Collaborate with executive leadership and technical leaders to define product direction
- Create vision and execution documents, ensuring high-quality technical documentation and software
- Hire, coach, and promote software engineers to ensure the right thing is being built and delivered to customers
- 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
- 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features
- Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and managing teams of software engineers
