About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Reliability/Asset Integrity to lead our Asset Integrity and Reliability team at 09 Irving Oil Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability and asset integrity programs that drive business excellence and improve overall refinery reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reliability and asset integrity programs that align with business objectives
  • Lead the Asset Integrity and Reliability team in support of day-to-day maintenance and reliability needs
  • Collaborate with technical SMEs to ensure sound engineering and inspection principles are adhered to
  • Develop the skills of team members and leverage performance management to ensure alignment
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders through collaboration and engagement
  • Accountable for accurate, complete, and consistent EOL equipment program risk priorities and optimization
Requirements
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and teach/learn from others
  • Respect for diversity and others' working, learning, and communications styles
  • Knowledge/certification with API CRE codes and standards
  • Working knowledge and awareness of jurisdictional acts and regulations
  • Degree in Engineering from a recognized University
  • PEng designation
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment; refining preferred
  • 5-10+ years of experience as a people leader with well-developed, collaborative leadership skills
