About the Role:

Goodwill, The Amity Group is seeking an exceptional President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next stage of growth and success. As a visionary leader, you will work with the Board of Directors to expand the organization's footprint, growing lines of service and the number of individuals served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership for the social service and social enterprise operations of the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, community partners, donors, employees, and the public.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, passion, and innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to make informed decisions that drive the organization's mission and vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of building relationships and driving growth in a complex social enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with a volunteer board and leading a small, dedicated team.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for making a major contribution to helping people in need reach their full potential.
  • Familiarity with retail and commercial operations, as well as social enterprise management.

Our social enterprises, including thrift stores and the Stairways café and catering division, offer hands-on training and experience for clients to gain the skills they need to enter their industry of interest.
