About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join our team in the Bridges department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sharing your knowledge and expertise in drafting and structural design with our team members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on bridge design and construction. You will be working closely with our team of technicians, drafters, and engineers to develop BIM/VDC processes and create project mock-ups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of BIM/VDC processes for bridge and engineering structure projects
  • Create detailed project mock-ups using modeling software
  • Develop and prepare models and plans for engineering structures
  • Ensure interdepartmental coordination and quality assurance
  • Contribute to the preparation of studies and technical reports
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior employees
Requirements
  • DEC in civil engineering or related field
  • 10 years of experience in structures (bridges, engineering structures, buildings)
  • Safety training on construction sites (ASP card)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit software
